Hot, passionate, authentic and energetic....Pasion De Buena Vista is all this and more – a breathtaking new show that mixes dance with music, sensational vocals with incredible rhythms. It takes you on a journey to the very heart of this exotic land.

 

Salsa, rhumba and mamba combine with stirring vocals to capture the essence of timeless Cuba. African percussion, Spanish instrumentation and the great trumpet sound of the American big bands of the 40's and 50's produce a thrilling heartbeat.

From Pinar del Rio in the East to Baracoa in the West, Pasion De Buena Vista showcases the very best musicians and dancers Cuba has to offer.

 

Already a huge hit across Europe with its music high in the German charts, Pasion De Buena Vista features an eight piece band lead by Antonio Castro along with three of the greatest Cuban singers around - Maida Castadena, Inocente Fernandez-Jimenez and Tomas Sanchez.  These three renowned vocalists have formerly performed with such Cuban legends as Ibrahim Ferrer, Juan de Marcos Gonzales and Compay Segundo.

 

Joining them are a backing singer and a dance troupe fresh from Club Tropicana in Havana under the leadership of well known choreographer Francisco Blanco Prada. Throw in vibrant costumes, a great backdrop and a riot of timbali, maracas and bongos and you have a truly exhilarating live performance.

Pasion De Buena Vista’s UK tour kicks off in February and runs to March playing 34 dates across the UK, part of a 100 date European outing that sees them on the road to the end of the year.
